Job Description For IBM Careers
IBM Recruitment Freshers Off Campus Drive Hiring Data Engineer As a Data Engineer at IBM in Hyderabad, you will leverage your expertise to gather, process, and manage data, contributing to both batch and real-time processing. You’ll collaborate with teams to select appropriate data management systems and identify critical data for insightful analysis. Tackling complex, unstructured datasets and addressing database integration challenges will be core to your role. Additionally, you will develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, integration, and transformation to support predictive and prescriptive models.
Responsibilities For IBM Careers
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for batch and stream processing using ETL/ELT tools like Informatica PowerCenter or cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with business teams and technical leads to gather requirements, identify data sources, and address data quality issues.
- Design target data structures, develop data processing routines, and perform unit testing to ensure data accuracy and quality.
- Assist data scientists and business analytics teams with data ingestion and resolve data-related technical issues.
- Implement predictive models, maintain statistical models with a focus on big data, and use machine learning techniques.
- Design and implement enterprise search applications (e.g., Elasticsearch, Splunk) based on client needs.
- Work in an Agile environment, partnering with diverse teams to address data challenges and predict behavior using statistical methods.
Requirement and Skills
- Technical Expertise: Strong experience in data warehousing, information management, data integration, and business intelligence using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Cloud Knowledge: Proficiency in cloud technologies, including data migration and Power BI.
- Programming Skills: Experience with Unix shell scripting, Python, and relational SQL.
- Big Data Expertise: Familiarity with big data technologies and handling complex datasets.
- Collaboration: Ability to work in an Agile, collaborative environment, solving data challenges alongside data scientists, engineers, and business consultants.
