Job Description
Position Overview:
You will collaborate with key stakeholders, helping them understand and leverage the Mendix platform to implement complex solutions. Your responsibilities include guiding project development, ensuring quality standards, and setting best practices to build efficient, user-focused applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to position the Mendix platform effectively for business solutions.
- Application Development: Develop and operate applications, ensuring compliance with Mendix standards and architectural guidelines.
- Technical Guidance: Mentor junior developers, leading by example in best development practices.
- Client Communication: Work closely with clients, explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with other teams to enhance integration, quality, and alignment across projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and contribute to overall improvement initiatives.
- Technical Standards: Establish and maintain high-quality standards for Mendix applications, acting as a point of reference for the development team.
Required Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in software development, with hands-on skills in application development.
- Familiarity with web front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, or React.
- Understanding of architecture patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven, Layered).
- Database knowledge (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with integration protocols (REST, SOAP, XML, HTTP).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes).
- Communication Skills: Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated experience in decision-making and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work in diverse, cross-cultural teams.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Mendix or other low-code platforms.
