Position Overview
As a Software Engineer Associate at Infor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving customer-reported issues and supporting the development and improvement of Infor’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) product. This role is ideal for recent graduates with strong problem-solving skills, a foundation in software development, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Customer Issue Resolution: Review and investigate customer-reported issues, offering timely and effective solutions.
- Product Support: Collaborate with the product development team to resolve technical challenges and contribute to product enhancements.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of customer issues and solutions, and contribute to knowledge base articles.
- Testing: Conduct tests to replicate and validate reported issues, ensuring product reliability and effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and customer support teams to drive product quality and improve customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Basic proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Familiarity with RPA tools and frameworks (desirable).
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and database management.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interactions with customers and internal teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug software issues.
- Experience: Internship or project experience in software development or technical support is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Teamwork skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
