Position Overview
As a Software Engineer, you’ll contribute to firmware development, testing, and debugging for portions and subsystems of HPE’s products. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals passionate about coding, hardware, and firmware design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and enhance firmware (DSP, embedded code, BIOS/UEFI) for subsystems. (Hands-on coding experience)
- Execute test plans, debug issues, and update assigned portions of code. (Improve testing and debugging skills)
- Build relationships with internal and outsourced development teams. (Strengthen teamwork and collaboration)
- Participate in project teams to design cost-effective and high-quality firmware solutions. (Work on impactful projects)
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. (Solid academic foundation)
- 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Fresh graduates or junior professionals are welcome)
Skills & Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of firmware design tools and languages. (Understand firmware development fundamentals)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. (Critical for debugging and optimization)
- Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles. (Essential for system-level development)
- Familiarity with coding, testing, and debugging procedures. (Practical technical experience)
- Good communication skills in English. (Collaborate effectively in global teams)
