Recruitment

• Strong understanding of ITIL processes—Incident Management, Major Incident Handling, Problem Management, and Change Management.
• Experience in handling major incidents and running outage bridges.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Willingness to work in early morning shifts (4 AM – 2 PM IST) from the client’s office in Bangalore (2-3 days a week).
• Availability for rotational on-call support on weekends.

Role and Responsibilities

• Incident Management: Manage major incidents efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Communication & Coordination: Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring real-time updates and effective communication.
• Problem & Change Management: Work closely with teams to implement permanent solutions and reduce future incidents.
• Root Cause Analysis: Conduct post-incident reviews to identify improvement areas.
• Compliance & Best Practices: Follow Cognizant’s ITIL-aligned service management protocols.
