Role Overview – Apprentice Trainee
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern to join our Defence Business Sales Team in India. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales, business development, and market research within the defense technology sector.
As an Apprentice Trainee, you will work alongside experienced professionals, support strategic sales initiatives, and learn how Motorola Solutions drives business growth in the government and defense markets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support
Assist in identifying and pursuing business opportunities on government portals.
Prepare sales proposals, maintain trackers, and support customer relationship management.
Conduct market research on defense sector opportunities.
2. Customer Outreach
Research and connect with potential government and defense clients.
Assist the sales team in lead generation and customer engagement efforts.
3. Market Research & Analysis
Perform competitive analysis and track industry trends.
Analyze customer needs to inform sales and product strategies.
4. Sales Administration
Maintain and update the CRM system.
Prepare sales reports, presentations, and documentation.
5. Event & Trade Show Support
Assist in organizing sales events, trade shows, and product demos for government and defense sector clients across India.
6. Data Analysis
Support data-driven decision-making by tracking sales performance and identifying new opportunities.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a B.Tech / B.E. or degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
