JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts using Python and PowerShell for routine system and operational tasks.
Support basic automation workflows, including scheduling, file handling, and system monitoring under guidance.
Help troubleshoot automation issues by analyzing logs, identifying failures, and supporting root cause analysis.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to implement assigned enhancements, documentation, and follow standard coding and security practices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of Python programming and scripting, including core fundamentals, data structures, functions, OOP concepts, file handling, and exception handling.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting concepts for task execution, job scheduling, file operations, and basic system administration.
- Understanding of databases and SQL fundamentals for simple data queries and handling.
- Basic exposure to REST APIs, JSON, and how Python scripts interact with external services.
- Working knowledge of debugging techniques, logs, and problem-solving for identifying and fixing script issues.
- Ability to work in a blended role, supporting automation development and basic production or operational tasks.
- Good to Have: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred), version control tools (Git), Ansible, Python package management (pip, virtual environments), and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts.
