Job Overview – Graduate Trainees
Calix is hiring Graduate Trainees for its Security Engineering and Threat Intelligence teams. In this role, candidates will work on network security, threat detection, and cybersecurity research.
You will gain hands-on experience in analyzing network attacks, building detection systems, and working with real-world cybersecurity tools and technologies. This role is ideal for candidates interested in Cyber Security, Networking, and Threat Intelligence domains.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with security engineers to analyze network-based attacks
- Perform packet-level analysis using tools like Wireshark and Zeek
- Develop and test detection signatures for IPS/NIDS systems
- Work on Python-based automation tools for security workflows
- Conduct OSINT research for threats, IoCs, and attack patterns
- Create technical documentation, reports, and playbooks
- Assist in building simulated attack scenarios for testing
- Support threat intelligence lifecycle and research activities
