Position Overview
As an Associate Software Engineer, you will engage throughout the software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, debugging, testing, and implementation of innovative applications. This role involves creating solutions using modern programming languages and platforms, addressing customer needs, and ensuring quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and maintain basic code for software solutions using front-end or back-end programming languages.
- Assist in application documentation, testing, and validation for code changes.
- Collaborate on project deliverables following standard methodologies and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance applications while ensuring compliance with PCI security standards.
- Build stable working relationships internally to foster effective collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with two or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, .NET, or Ruby.
- Basic knowledge of APIs, external services, relational, and NoSQL databases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with professional coding, application design, or data analysis.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js or Angular.
- Familiarity with Linux distributions, Windows, or mainframe systems.
