Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Must have a 10th-grade pass certificate with passing marks in Mathematics and English.
• Should have studied the local language of the state up to the 10th standard.

Additional Requirements:

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to ride a cycle
• Must have an adequate means of livelihood

Job Profiles

1. Branch Postmaster (BPM):

   • Oversee operations at Branch Post Offices.
   • Promote postal services and manage IPPB (India Post Payments Bank) services.
   • Supervise mail deliveries and handle customer service tasks.

2. Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM):

   • Support the BPM in mail delivery, marketing services, and IPPB transactions.
   • Handle tasks like stamp sales and customer assistance.

3. Dak Sevak:

   • Manage stationery sales, IPPB transactions, and mail delivery.
   • Assist postmasters with sorting and dispatching mailbags.

Age Limit (As of 03 March 2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 40 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwD: 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)

Selection Process

• A merit list will be generated based on 10th-grade marks.
• Marks will be calculated to 4 decimal points for accuracy.
• Grade-based marks conversion uses a multiplication factor of 9.5.
• Final selection is subject to document verification by the divisional head.

• BPM: ₹12,000 – ₹29,380/-
• ABPM/Dak Sevak: ₹10,000 – ₹24,470/-
