Job Description
Position Overview
As a Business Analyst/Assistant Manager, you will play a critical role in HRO Analytics, focusing on designing, developing, and delivering dashboards and visualizations using Power BI. You will contribute to improving decision-making processes by transforming HR data into actionable insights, supporting resource management, talent acquisition, and learning initiatives.
This role involves working with cross-functional teams, handling complex data, and engaging directly with stakeholders to provide tailored analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of HR concepts in planning and operations.
- Design, build, and optimize interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and architect reporting solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy and implement advanced security configurations within Power BI.
- Manage connections to multiple data sources and implement scheduled data refreshes.
- Optimize dashboards for performance and usability, incorporating user feedback.
- Write and execute SQL queries over Azure SQL DB and other BI platforms.
- Leverage experience with ETL tools, preferably in the Azure Synapse environment, to streamline data workflows.
- Troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of reports.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Applications, or related fields (BE/B-Tech, BCA, MCA).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR Management (MBA-HR) or related fields (BSc/MSc).
- Strong skills in Power BI, including dashboard design, data modeling, and user security configurations.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with Azure Synapse or similar ETL tools.
- Familiarity with HR analytics and a strong understanding of HR operations.

- High level of personal drive and a positive work ethic to meet deadlines.
- Adaptability to different engagement types, working environments, and client hours.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
