McAfee Work from Home Freshers Hiring C++ Developer
Role Overview
As a Software Developer at IBM, you will work closely with clients and a multidisciplinary team to define, develop, and deliver top-tier software solutions. In this role, you’ll focus on creating first-class developer experiences and tools using modern IDE technologies like VS Code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Development: Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- IDE Integration: Build developer tools using VS Code and modern IDE technologies.
- Collaboration: Engage in cross-functional teamwork, leveraging Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve issues reported by clients, end-users, and test teams.
- Innovation: Develop and refine software engineering processes and product engineering methods to enhance the product lifecycle.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Software Development Experience: 2-5 years of experience in development roles.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Java, C/C++, PL/1, Assembler.
- Scripting Skills: Experience with at least one scripting language (Ansible, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, Rust, Swift, or Kotlin).
- Source Control & CI/CD: Skilled in using source control tools (e.g., GitHub, Tekton, Jenkins) and Agile Lifecycle Management tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to work across time zones.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- CI/CD & Build Technologies: Experience in establishing and modernizing CI/CD pipelines and using build technologies.
- Web Development Skills: Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frameworks like React, Node.js, Angular.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Proficiency with cloud architectures, infrastructure (VPC, Kubernetes/OpenShift), and microservices.
- Database Systems: Familiarity with Db2, Mongo, Couchbase, IMS, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Plugin Development: Knowledge of VS Code extension and Eclipse Plugin development.
- Microservices & Security: Experience with Spring Boot, Liberty, Quarkus, and a deep understanding of code security best practices.
